Things to Know Before Your Walking Tour in Nashville, TN

What Should I Bring And Wear On My Tour?

Comfortable clothes and shoes are the order of the day for our walking tours. Based on the weather, don’t forget to consider a hat, camera for the sites, sunscreen, umbrella, and extra snacks or water if needed (we do provide water bottles). Check the forecast prior to the tour and reach out if you have any special request!

Can I Take Photos and/or Videos?

Absolutely! Take as many photos/videos as you like. I invite you to share on our Social Media @NashvilleExperienceTours or #mynashvilleexperience!

What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

Hey, life happens! We ask that you give us a minimum of 24-hours notice for any cancellations or schedule changes. Cancellations made in less than 24 hours of your tour start time are not eligible for a refund.You may opt to rescedule your tour for a future date, if available.

What If It Is Raining?

Tours proceed in the sun or the rain, as long as there is not reasonable danger of inclement weather. Please check the forecast and plan accordingly. If there is serious inclement weather, please call/text us at 615.504.6286. We will have a recorded voicemail on that line as soon as we know a tour will be cancelled due to weather. If there is no cancellation recording, the show goes on!

What Is Tour Etiquette?

That’s a good question! Please be responsible, watch out for traffic, and consider other pedestrians during your tour. I will do my best to arrange everyone so they can hear and see without blocking the sidewalk and give the best local advice as we proceed. You may ask any questions during the tour and also during our question/answer session at the end of the tour.

What Are Your Policies on Covid 19?

The mask mandate, as of 5/15/21, has been lifted by Metro Government beginning 5/14/21.See Metro Link: https://www.asafenashville.org/updates/mphd-to-lift-mask-mandate.The Metro Resource for the latest Covid 19 information is https://www.asafenashville.org. If you’re not feeling well, think you may have Covid, or have been exposed to anyone with Covid in the last two weeks, please contact us immediately. Please consider your temperate/approach regarding masks/Covid risk/etc. to judge if this is the right tour for you. Purchasing and participating in the tour is your decision and you will assume any risk.

Do You Allow Tipping?

There is absolutely no requirement or expectation to tip the tour guide. If you wish to do so, it is perfectly ok.
